Fender 1973 Telecaster Custom With OHSC And Original Strap – Used
This 1973 Telecaster Custom came to us from its original owner and is in Very Good condition. It is in great shape for its age, and all parts and electronics are original.
It is a classic 1970s Telecaster, featuring a slim 21-fret neck, 3-bolt neck joint, steel saddles, and bullet-end truss rod. There are some battle scars on the body, as this guitar was played and loved since the early ’70s, but its polyurethane finish has kept the guitar in check over the years.
This Tele’s Wide Range Neck pickup is full, fat, and smooth – with just the right amount of pick attack. The guitar’s middle position runs the pickups in out-of-phase. The bridge pickup has plenty of high end, so using the out-of-phase position with the bridge pickup tone around 4-5 helps knock off excessive hi-frequencies, while keeping clarity intact.
In order to keep this guitar in shape for its next owner, a full refret was done by Russo Music technicians.
