Australian Blackwood is the stiffest timber Cole Clark uses to make guitars, which has a unique tonal quality that offers a low mid range punch, as well as fantastic percussive capabilities. Think Koa’s Australian cousin in tone. Their Blackwood is sourced from Tasmania and Victoria with an emphasis on sustainability to the environment.
