Fender American Professional II Jazz Bass Maple, Roasted Pine
The Fender American Professional II Jazz Bass Maple in Roasted Pine has roots tracing back to the original Jazz Bass released in the 1960s, with this iteration representing a modern evolution that blends tradition with innovation to meet the demands of contemporary musicians.
Cut from Roasted Pine, the body of this American Professional II Jazz Bass exhibits a distinctive grain pattern, one that makes roasted pine a notable choice in tone wood. The natural, untinted finish allows the roasted pine’s grain to be put on display, interrupted only by the black pickguard fount on the front of the body. The body also features two deep cutaways, and a belly contour for added comfort.
The neck of this J-Bass is carved from maple, into a comfortable slim “C” profile, and features a “Super-Natural” satin urethane finish. Topped with a maple fingerboard featuring rolled edges, twenty Narrow Tall frets divide the fingerboard with Black Dot inlays paving the way for precise playing.
This J-Bass comes stocked with V-Mod II Jazz Bass single-coil pickups, designed to recreate vintage J-Bass tones and capture this bass’ tonal nuances faithfully. Its hardware includes a 4-Saddle HiMass Vintage bridge, and Vintage-style tuning machines, all with a chrome finish.Â
Included with the Jazz Bass is a Fender Deluxe Molded Case, providing secure transportation and storage for the instrument.
