Martin 1971 D-28 Natural With OHSC – Used
This vintage D-28 is in good condition for its age. It was brought into our Asbury Park location by the original owner and is a rather clean example of an early ’70s D-28.
The back and sides are East Indian Rosewood paired with a nicely aged Sitka spruce top. The neck is a slightly chunky oval profile that fits comfortably in the hand. Dot inlays are present on the ebony fingerboard. The action is low and playable.
The binding has aged with a slight yellow tint, but does not show signs of separation from the body. There are some small scratches and markings present on the rosewood back from play wear, but nothing out of the ordinary for a guitar of its age that has been well loved.
