Fender Troy Sanders Precision Bass, Rosewood, Silverburst Signature Bass Guitar
The band Mastodon have made themselves a household name when it comes to metal fans, along with those who just appreciate insane musicianship. Their bass player already has multiple signature instruments, and is now adding another – the Fender Troy Sanders Precision Bass in a Silverburst finish. It is loaded with his favorite Fender appointments that accompany him on stage and in the studio, and now they can come along with you, too.
This P Bass features both split-coil P and single-coil Jazz pickups designed by the master Tim Shaw himself, wired up to an active 18V preamp for plenty of power and tonal manipulation. The 70’s P “C” shaped neck feels friendly and familiar to all four-stringers, and is toped by a beautiful 9.5″ radius slab rosewood fingerboard with pearloid block inlays. The HiMass vintage bridge provides plenty of sustain, and makes for easy intonation and reliable tuning stability. A matching Silverburst finish headstock ties top to bottom together, and the “Emperor of Sand” icon at the 12th fret makes quite the statement. Well equipped to rock an arena, or help write your next award-winning hit, the Fender Troy Sanders Precision bass is well oiled, low-frequency-yielding machine that is fun, inspiring, and fully ready to rock.
