The sidechain input is where those of you who are more adventurous may want to send your focus. Inset a mono (TS) 1/4″ cable to send an independent audio signal into the Ixion to control compression. Or, use this input to send a stereo (TRS) 1/4″ cable in that’s connected to a volume or expression pedal if you’d like to control the Ixion’s compression level dynamically on the fly with your foot.
