The Mesa Engineering 2×12 Rectifier Diagonal Cabinet is an all-new addition to the Rectifier line of Boogie speaker cabinets. This closed-back cabinet is an eagerly awaited design to many Mesa cabinet fans, with only horizontal and vertical speaker spreads offered before this 2×12. The diagonal configuration offers for a wide front of house spread for audience listening, as well as a wide vertical spread for on stage monitoring. Many players enjoy the “warm loud” of cabinets pointed straight and not at one’s ears, and this Rectifier 2×12 offers on stage monitoring support without putting the player directly in the firing line of the speakers.
This marine grade Baltic Birch speaker cabinet is loaded with rear mounted UK Celestion Vintage 30 speakers, exclusive to Mesa Engineering cabinets. The tale of the tape rules all when it comes to larger speaker cabinets, and this 2×12 checks in at a manageable 51lbs with a 21.75″ width. If additional transportation assistance is necessary, Mesa’s Track-Loc Removable Casters (sold seperately) are compatible with this 2×12 Rectifier Cabinet.
