Reverend Descent RA Baritone Electric Guitar, Rosewood Fingerboard, Army Green
Reverend has carved a niche for themselves in the baritone-style guitar realm, and the Descent RA is a big part of the reason why. This beautiful instrument features a solid Korina body, with smooth contours and an ergonomic design enhance comfort and aesthetic.
What sets this Descent RA apart from its sibling, the Descent W, is its TOM bridge with a stop tail, and its Reverend Chisel pickups in both bridge and neck. The Chisel is Reverend’s most aggressive Railhammer humbucker, featuring an upper-mid peak that offers a quick attack and top-notch clarity. With two of these, this guitar is built to offer a high-octane playing experience, with one simple purpose: creating a hot baritone sound that utilizes all of this guitar’s specs to cater to its sound.Â
Attached to its body with a robust 6-bolt connection, the neck of the Descent RA is built using roasted maple, which is heat treated by Reverend to remove impurities and deliver a more seasonally stable and better looking wood out of the oven. Topped with a rosewood fingerboard, divided by 22 frets with dimensions of 0.110″ width and 0.050″ height, the Descent RA features a total scale length of 26.75″.
With features like its dual-action truss rod, accessible at the headstock, this guitar is built for players who like to tweak on the fly. Its Transparent White finish underlines a statement that Reverend makes regularly in their guitars: sometimes, visual simplicity speaks volumes if the guitar’s tone speaks louder.
