2020 Gibson Hummingbird Acoustic-Electric Guitar, Heritage Cherry w/ OHSC – Used
The Gibson Hummingbird Standard is a square shoulder Dreadnought constructed from a sitka spruce top, mahogany back/sides, and a mahogany neck with rosewood fingerboard. The body features traditional hand scalloped X-bracing and the icon Hummingbird pickguard. The double bound fingerboard and body elevate the design and are complimented by the split block inlays on the fretboard. The body is loaded with a LR Baggs VTC pickups for a clear and balanced sound and can be dialed in further with the volume/tone controls.
This Gibson Hummingbird is serial 22460032 and is finished in Heritage Cherry. The guitar comes to us in excellent condition and shows little to no signs of use. This particular example sounds excellent, the feel of the neck feels tapered down by the first position and gets slightly thicker as you play up the neck. On the back of the neck this model has “Demo” stamped into it from the factory. Original hard-shell case included.
