Iris Guitar Company RCM-000 12-fret Acoustic Guitar, Sitka Spruce Top, Burst
Iris Guitar Company RCM-000 touches down with its slimmest-body model to date. A 12-fret style acoustic, this RCM-000 boasts a number of unique features.
Named after Christian McAdams, General Manager of Iris Guitar Company, this RCM-000 begins with a Sitka spruce top and mahogany back and sides. This classic tonewood combination provides an iconic acoustic voice only enhanced by scalloped Adirondack spruce bracing. Matching its sweet voice, this RCM features a burst-colored, natural satin finish. This open-pore nitrocellulose finish gives the body a distinctly vintage and natural aesthetic visually and tangibly. A classic Iris Indian rosewood fingerboard is paired with the body’s tonewoods to create an effortless playing experience in the arms and across the fingers.
A bolt-on mortise and tenon neck joint joins the RCM’s body and neck. This design choice completes the overall form of the RMC-000, however, this does not conclude the experience. Iris’s fine appointments appear across this model for a wholly impressive instrument – including a firestripe pickguard and gorgeous white binding to tie together the entire visual package.
In honor of one of Iris Guitar Company’s most crucial people, the RCM-000 model brings an excellent acoustic experience to every player to take it for a spin.
