In the nearly 50 years since it’s original release, the Ampeg V-4b has been a reliable addition to thousands of bass rigs around the world. Now, the Ampeg V-4B has been authentically recreated in this reissue of the original 1971 version.
All the tone, half the weight
The V-4B is a solid 100 watt tube head with a 6L6 power section that embodies the best of tube tone. That said, it comes in at nearly half the weight of an SVT, which means you don’t have to break your back to get the classic Ampeg tone.
Classic meets Modern
Although it’s a reissue of the 1971 model, the current Ampeg V-4B comes with the features expected by a modern bass player. It has an integrated DI for going straight into boards and multiple speaker outs for a host of connection options.
