High quality 32-bit stereo recording start out loops with great clarity running with thirteen hours of onboard recording time. With hours of recording time with a maximum single track length of an hour and a half, the RC-500 has plenty of space to continuously add dub after dub. An outstanding feature of the RC-500 is that it is equipped with ninety-nine Phrase Memories for storing a favorite loop phrase with all overdubs, Loop FX and rhythm presets intact. Along with a vast memory bank, the RC-500 allows for USB importing and exporting of favorite loops for separate storage.
One of the most impressive and standout features of the RC-500 is the two independent channels that players can use to track and loop phrases that are separately controllable. Two dedicated sliders allow players to mix between dynamic stacked loops on the fly for quick adjustments or deeper experimentation. In the more advanced area of the RC-500, 114 built-in drum patterns allow players to add a rhythm section to their loops with sixteen drum kits and fifty-seven rhythm tracks accessible via the tap tempo switch. To accompany traditional guitar loops, the RC-500 features a microphone input for vocalists to add in different vocal performances into their loops. MIDI and expression pedal output enable deeper control over the RC-500 in the moment or in the studio for extensive adjustment and manipulation.
