Cole Clark AN2EC-RDBL Angel 2 Redwood / Blackwood
Let’s introduce the Cole Clark AN2EC with Redwood top & Blackwood back and sides.
With its Australian grown American redwood top, this Angel 2 model offers the crispness and sustain of spruce while yielding the warm, brassy tones of what would be heard from cedar. Redwood is a tone wood favored by finger style players due to its crisp upper harmonic content. Being a softwood top however these are not for percussive style playing. Crafted with a Tasmanian Blackwood back and sides, you will hear tonality comparative to a Koa or Mahogany tone wood (clear, dry and warm). When it comes to the neck CC only offers the finest with the choice of Queensland Maple. Queensland Maple is strong but light, producing a valued mid range tone, along with a beautiful aesthetic, giving something for the eye to look at.
Let’s not forget that these beauties are electric! The AN2EC is equipped with the Cole Clark 3-way pickup system for true acoustic tone. Your audience will hear every nuance of your playing through a combination of the piezo bridge pickup, face sensor & microphone. Every Cole Clark is built for live performance and using one in a live environment is sure to impress.
