Starting with a mahogany body with a maple top with a AAA figured maple veneer, the guitar has that authentic Les Paul feel in hand which is enhanced by a mahogany neck in a 1959 hand-rolled profile. Epiphone’s 1959 Les Paul Standard comes equipped with two Gibson BurstBucker humbucking pickups that deliver all the refined tones and tonal kick that one would expect from a Les Paul. Intonation is kept stable and precise with an Epiphone LockTone ABR-1 bridge and Stop Bar tailpiece. Visually, Epiphone’s 1959 Les Paul Standard stuns with a bright burst finish which is only complemented by an Indian laurel fingerboard with trapezoid inlays.
