Epiphone ’63 Firebird I Electric Guitar, Silver Mist w/Hard Case
The Epiphone ’63 Firebird I, part of the “Inspired by Gibson” collection, pays a nod to the legendary original Firebird models by Gibson, loved by music icons like Johnny Winter and Eric Clapton. This guitar is an affordable recreation of the iconic 1963 design by automotive pioneer Ray Dietrich.
Built with a 9-ply neck-through-body of mahogany and walnut, and featuring an offset body shape with a deep lower cutaway for enhanced fret access, this ’63-inspired beauty looks and plays equally well.
Its neck, also made from walnut and mahogany, boasts an Indian laurel fretboard with Mother of Pearl dot inlays across 22 frets. Equipped with Gibson USA Firebird mini humbucker pickups, this guitar delivers a classic tone that sets it apart, while the Kluson “Banjo-style” Planetary tuning machines add a unique touch to its headstock.
With its stunning Silver Mist finish, nickel-plated hardware, and Lightning Bar bridge, this Firebird captures the essence of its 1963 predecessor. Complete with master volume and tone controls, hand-wired with CTS pots, this guitar offers both style and substance. It comes complete with a custom hard case.
