Epiphone Masterbilt J45 Aged Vintage Sunburst Gloss
When the original Gibson J-45 was first introduced in 1942, nicknamed “The Workhouse”, quickly became popular as an instrument with an iconic voice and quality construction. Today, the same care and craftsmanship can be seen in the Epiphone J-45. Epiphone’s Inspired by Gibson Collection brings out the best in classic Gibson instruments and the J-45 is of no exception. The sloped shoulder dreadnought body shape is constructed from solid mahogany and Sitka spruce woods for that classic Gibson acoustic sound. An Indian laurel fingerboard with twenty Medium Jumbo frets is complemented by a Rounded C-shaped mahogany neck for easy playing from higher to lower registers. The J-45 is topped off with a Fishman Sonicore under-saddle pickup and Sonitone preamp to bring those classic tones to the stage. Epiphone’s dedication to creating excellent instruments shows with this J-45 and the historic name it carries.
