Fender Vintera II ‘70s Telecaster Bass Guitar, Maple Fingerboard, Surf Green
The Fender Vintera II 70s Telecaster Bass is a welcome addition to the Vintera series of instruments.
The Telecaster Bass is a direct descendent of the original 1951 Precision Bass and first appeared in 1968 – originally featuring one single coil pickup. In 1972, the Telecaster bass was revamped and loaded with a large and powerful neck humbucking pickup, which is the example this Vintera II model is based around. For the Vintera II Telecaster Bass, the Fender Wide Range Bass Humbucker is featured.
The Vintera II Telecaster Bass is comprised of classic vintage Fender-style features – Alder body, Maple neck with gloss urethane finish, 7.25″ radius fingerboard, ’70s style Stamped Open Gear tuning machines, ’70s style three-bolt neck joint, and vintage-style string trees and strap buttons. A Fender Deluxe Gig Bag is included to keep your Telecaster Bass safe in transit.
Words that come to mind when looking at or playing this classic Fender bass design could be: Thumpy, Meaty, or Mighty. This big ol’ bass pairs perfectly with a big ol’ belt buckle and a big ol’ pair of boots. Pick up a Fender Vintera II ’70s Telecaster Bass and deliver the goods!
