Fender Vintera II ‘70s Telecaster Bass Guitar, Maple Fingerboard, Vintage White
The Fender Vintera II ’70s Telecaster Bass is a big and bold electric bass guitar with the style of the 1970s.
Originally introduced in 1968, the Telecaster Bass is of direct lineage to the original 1951 Precision bass, sharing the same body style and headstock shape. The Vintera II Telecaster bass is modeled after those produced from 1972 onwards, featuring a wide-range humbucking pickup in the neck position as opposed to a middle position single coil.
Helping deliver massive loud and proud low end in the 1970s, the Telecaster Bass remains a favorite of Fender aficionados and is available as a standard production model in the Vintera II Series of vintage-style Fender instruments.
The Vintera II Telecaster Bass is loaded with vintage Fender features: Alder body, Maple neck with 7.25″ radius and gloss Urethane finish, Vintage-style open gear tuners, period correct 3-screw hardtail bridge with two adjustable saddles, as well as vintage-style string trees and strap buttons. Fender’s Wide Range Bass Humbucker in the neck position brings the low end, controlled by a master volume and tone.
