Gibson 1936 J-35 With Belly Bridge And LR Baggs Element VTC
In 1936, the Gibson J-35 evolved from its Jumbo dreadnought size to another form. The 1936 version of the J-35 was a guitar of a slightly lessened scale and size, but not at all of musical quality. Today’s Gibson 1936 J-35 is a vintage-inspired creation made to revive such a J-35 experience for modern players. American made in Bozeman, Montana, by Gibson’s Master Luthiers, this acoustic sings with all the sweet and sublime voicing of original 1936 models. A Thermally Aged Adirondack red spruce top is coupled with mahogany back and sides to form an Gibson Advanced Jumbo body shape. This body is outfitted with a belly bridge and bone saddle to ensure stability in intonation. In hand, the 1936 J-35 is comfortable with its V-shaped mahogany neck and rosewood fingerboard for hours of acoustic bliss. This J-35 features LR Baggs Element electronics to easily translate such iconic acoustic tones to the stage. Finely crafted to bring a piece of Gibson history back to life, this guitar invites players of today to pick, strum, and experience an instrument unlike any other for themselves.
