It is fitted with a Mahogany neck with rounded profile, Rosewood fingerboard, and classic split-parallelogram Mother of Pearl Inlays.
The 1960 Hummingbird receives the Murphy Lab Light Aged finish treatment. This process simulates decades of light usage and care, with lightly aged hardware to enhance its appeal. The Murphy Lab team reverse engineered the original nitrocellulose lacquer formula used by Gibson in the 1950s and 1960s, You will find light checking and softened edges throughout the the 1960 Hummingbird, excellently simulating a broken in, well loved instrument.
