Gibson ES-135 Blue Burst with Case – Used
Condition: Overall decent condition, some belt rush on the back of the instrument towards the strap button. Paint chipping around neck joint and some pick scratches on front.Â
Introduced in 1956 and discontinued in 1958, the ES-135 was introduced in Electric Spanish line of guitars. Originally featuring P-100 pickups and a trapeze tailpiece. This model was the first semi solid electric guitar with an florentine cutaway.
With its reintroduction in 1991, came a few changes from the original. Mostly in the form of 2 chrome covered humbuckers.
This Blueburst Es-135 was produced near the end of the second run of this model. Discontinued again in 2003, these are getting harder to find by the day. This particular one has been used, but not abused. Virtually no scratches on the front and very few on the back. This piece comes with an original hardshell case to protect your investment.
