Gibson ES-335 Figured Semi-Hollow Electric Guitar, Antique Natural
This Antique Natural Gibson 335 is a semi-hollow wonder that boasts performance features and specs to make the most focused guitar players happy, while also offering a simple and understate, timeless aesthetic that anyone could appreciate.
The iconic silhouette of this beaty is cut from three-ply, AAA figured maple and poplar, and the addition of a thermally engineered maple center block enhances the semi-hollow experience, preventing unwanted feedback in high-gain scenarios. Underneath the top, Adirondack spruce, quarter sawn maple bracing helps this guitar resonate, in the same fashion to how it’s applied in acoustic guitars.
This ES-335 Figured features a smooth, mahogany Rounded “C” neck profile, topped with a 12″ radius, rosewood fingerboard. The fingerboard is divided by its 22 Plek’d Medium Jumbo frets, and between them, Acrylic Small Block inlays light the way for precise playing and also offer a gorgeous focal point to the fingerboard.
This instrument comes stocked with Gibson’s new Calibrated T-Type humbucking pickups, that deliver a classic Gibson tone, through and through. In 335 fashion, the control scheme of these pickups includes two volumes, two tones, and a 3-way toggle switch. Hand-wired electronic controls with Orange Drop caps underscore the attention to detail offered by Gibson in this guitar.
Details that help this guitar across the finish line are its Aluminum ABR-1 bridge and stop bar tailpiece, Vintage Deluxe tuning machines with Keystone buttons, and a Graph Tech nut, measuring at 1.695″.
