The Gretsch G6122T Players Edition Country Gentleman – Walnut has faux f-holes which give more control over potential or purposeful feedback, and are certainly pleasing to look at. If you’re a rolled ebony fingerboard fan, this one will surely not disappoint in richness and feel, smooth as can be. It’s also adorned with Pearloid thumbnail inlays, and the “U” shaped maple neck features Luminlay side dots for visibility in the dimmest of stage lighting. Two FT-67 Filter’Tron pickups sing classic sparkly Gretsch tones but are also refined enough to accomplish a wide variety of sounds by adjusting the guitars expansive (yet very user friendly) tone controls. And let’s not forget about the Bigsby. The string-through B6GP vibrato allows for quick string changes and even more importantly allows for better vibration and sustain.
