Hamer Korina Special – Vintage Korina – Used
This Hamer Korina Special is in very good condition with minor signs of wear and play. Some lacquer chips on top of body, but no major chips or finish flaws. No splitting lacquer – common on later Hamers. DiMarzio Cliplocks installed.
Hamer USA guitars are some of the most well crafted electric instruments found on the market. They were known for extra hands-on detail in their build process over modern C&C machine production. Hamer’s production run ended in 2012, but their instruments continue to gain following and high used market value. This Korina Special is a riff machine loaded with a single Seymour Duncan P-90 pickup wired to volume and tone controls. It sports a comfortable thick C-shape neck with 14.5″ radius rosewood fingerboard. The Hamer Korina Special also features a Tone Pros wraparound bridge, intonatable at the second and third strings.
