In our constant pursuit to explore the boundaries of this timeless classic, we’ve added a little twist. The result is this limited-edition Heritage H-530, boasting a Pelham Blue finish – one of our favorite colors here at Russo Music. It’s a vintage-inspired shade that captures the echoes of an era gone by, providing an aesthetic as unique and compelling as the sound the instrument itself produces.Â
The body of the H-530, a thinline hollow body, is constructed from laminate maple, providing a resonant, balanced tonal foundation. Maple’s characteristic brightness beautifully complements the guitar’s full hollow nature, resulting in a captivating combination of warm depth and crystal-clear highs.Â
A neck crafted from genuine mahogany adds to this sonic concoction with its robust resonance, giving the guitar an earthy depth that contrasts and complements the laminate maple body. This tonal blend plays out on a smoothly finished Rosewood fingerboard, a platform for intricate harmonies and complex soundscapes. The result is a guitar that is more than a simple sum of its parts; it’s a stage on which each note can fully express itself.Â
The H-530 features a 24.75″ scale length and a standard neck profile, enhancing playability and offering a classic ES-like feel. The Bone nut and ‘Heritage’ branded tuners maintain tuning stability while contributing to the guitar’s overall tonal quality.Â
The soul of this limited-edition instrument, however, lies in its electronics. The Lollar Dogear P-90s, combined with CTS 500K potentiometers and Vishay .022uF capacitors, lend their characteristic warmth and growl. These nuanced sounds can be further sculpted using the guitar’s control setup – two volume, two tone knobs, and a 3-way toggle – offering endless possibilities for sonic exploration.Â
Rounding off this extraordinary package is the locking bridge and trapeze tailpiece, ensuring the integrity of intonation and the guitar’s resonant sustain. And of course, each of these masterpieces comes housed in a protective TKL Hardshell case.Â
