Martin 0-18 Standard Series Acoustic Guitar
The Martin 0-18 acoustic guitar is a welcome addition to Martin’s Standard Series of Nazareth, PA-made instruments. Although toting one of the company’s smallest orchestra-style bodies, the 0-18 produces an incredibly robust tone, ideal for fingerpicking among many other styles.
If you are familiar with the Martin 000-18 and 00-18 model guitars, you may deduce that the 0-18 has the smallest body of the three, and you would be correct! This guitar – pronounced “Single O Eighteen” – measures 13-1/2 inches across the lower bout, and has been in existence since the 19th century.
The 0-18 features a concert sized mahogany body with spruce top, scalloped X-bracing with non-scalloped tone bars, Dovetail neck joint, ebony fingerboard and bridge, open-gear tuners, and 24.9″ scale.
This authentic Martin guitar also features a host of new redevelopments for the Standard Series launched by Martin in 2018. Key features include an aging toner top finish and modified low oval neck profile with High Performance Taper. Also included with the 0-18 is a Martin Hardshell Case.
For an exquisite sounding concert body guitar with high regards for playability and comfort, look towards the Martin Standard Series 0-18, made with pride in Nazareth, Pennsylvania.
