Martin 1973 D-28 Acoustic Guitar, Natural With OHSC – Used
This Martin D-28 was crafted in Nazareth, PA in 1973. It comes to us from the second owner who purchased it in 1975 in Brick, NJ. The D-28 is constructed from a sitka spruce top, rosewood back/sides, mahogany neck, and ebony fingerboard/bridge. The neck on this D-28 is a very comfortable V-shape that sits perfectly in hand.
This Martin D-28 looks and plays great. The body exhibits light pick scratches and there is a thin finish scratch right above the bridge where the pickguard meets it. There is a small nick on the bass side of the body. The binding has aged to a beautiful cream color. The guitar has been re-fretted by Phil Petillo, and a replacement pickguard has been installed by Dave Petillo.
