Milkman Sound Beekeeper 18-Watt 4×8 Tube Combo Amplifier
The Milkman Beekeeper is new addition to Milkman Sound’s TV front combo amplifiers. It is a simple to dial in all tube combo with a single channel, low and hi inputs, and in this case the option of a unique 4×8 speaker configuration.
Running 18w off a pair of 6V6GC power tubes, the Beekeeper delivers familiar American-style tone. Simplicity is key for the Beekeeper with controls for Volume, Treble, Middle, and Bass. Changes to the EQ curve are subtler than other Milkman amps, as is noted in their manual for the Beekeeper, since the EQ is placed after a cathode follower.
