The Old Blood Noise Fault is a versatile tool in dialing in the perfect overdrive/distortion tone. Whether you’re looking for sweet, light break up, deep heavy gain for chugging, or an ear-piercing lead tone, Fault has you covered. The magic happens as soon as you engage the footswitch. You’re greeted by gain 1. Control gain 1 with the volume and gain knob. The higher the gain, the more intense it gets. Ready for more? Repeat the same process by engaging the gain 2 footswitch and blend to your heart’s desire. Fault is fully equipped with a 3 band EQ; low, mid, and high each cut or boost their respective frequencies – scoop it, hump it, flatten it, whatever your heart desires. Low is a 100 Hz shelf filter, Mid is 500 Hz bell, and High is 3 kHz shelf.
