Strymon Iridium Amp and IR Cab Pedal
Strymon Iridium Modeling Pedal
The Strymon Iridium is a new class of amp modeling based on Strymon’s Matrix Modeling™ process. An all-in-one replacement, the Iridium comes with 3 amp and 9 cab models allowing for a mix and match of classic tones without a tube or speaker in sight.
Iconic Amps, Simulated in the Strymon Amp Modeler
The Strymon Amp Modeler comes with three famous amps, mapped and quantified down to the last circuit using Strymon’s Matrix Modeling technology that has quickly gained notoriety with its attention to minute details. The first, known as the “Round Amp”, takes its cues from the Fender Deluxe Reverb, showing off the plentiful bright headroom and unique mid-scooped gain in the Strymon Iridium reverb pedal. Next is the Iridium Pedal’s “Chime Amp”, based on the AC30, which encapsulates the jangly chime expected from the Vox classic. Lastly, there is the “Punch Amp”, a faithful representation of the Marshall Plexi growl and its sophisticated dynamic range. Add in 9 Cab simulations running from 2×10 to 8×12 and you have a respectable selection of sounds.
On Stage or in the Studio
With the Strymon Iridium, you can show up to your next gig with nothing but your pedalboard and guitar. Control all of your amp tones right at your feet and get your exact tone sent to the house monitor without ever micing an amp. Same goes if you’re at home or in the studio. Plug the Iridium directly into a mixing board, interface, or directly from the Iridium to your headphones for use at home.
Grab your Iridium Pedal today and give it a shot. You can expect to perfect your amp tones with ease and control the room ambience with just a few moves.
