Taylor 362CE Grand Concert 12-String All Mahogany Acoustic Guitar, Shaded Edgeburst
The 362CE Grand Concert from Taylor is one of the most all-encompassing 12-string acoustic guitars on the market. Sized for comfort in a Grand Concert body, it might not look like your typical larger shaped 12-strings that you might be used to. However, if you just close your eyes and listen, you’d think that you were hearing a giant Jumbo being played. This is largely in thanks to the V-Class bracing on the inside, allowing the top to vibrate at peak performance. Intonation and sustain also benefit from this Taylor proprietary bracing pattern that can now be found in so many of their instruments. Being all tropical mahogany construction, its tone is very well balanced with a bit of focus in the midrange frequencies. It’s also “scaled” down for comfort at 24.875″ which provides an incredibly comfortable playing experience. With the strings being less taught, both chords and single notes are easier to fret and let resonate endlessly with plenty of 12-string chime. Effortlessly a standard-setting 12-string acoustic, the 362CE is a pleasure to play on stage, in the studio, or just because you feel like strumming.
