Taylor Limited Edition K68E Grand Orchestra 12-String Figured Hawaiian Koa Acoustic Guitar
Every time Taylor releases a limited-edition guitar, they set the bar higher and higher. They have gone and done it again with this Limited Edition K68E Grand Orchestra 12-string.
It’s a well-known fact that Taylor produces some of the most playable 12-string acoustic guitars, and this K68E has joined the pack. Its slender Neo-Tropical Mahogany neck paired with a smooth Ebony fretboard makes for easy fretting, whether you’re comping chords or pursuing complex leads.
Taylor’s V-Class bracing provides enhanced intonation, sustain, and dynamic response, no matter how or what you choose to play. There’s little to no argument that its most defining feature is the vast amount of figured Hawaiian Koa. An immaculately patterned top, back, and sides with a Shaded Edgeburst finish draped over them truly shows the artistry of Mother Nature herself. And as far as tone goes, matching the V-Class guts with the outer Koa construction makes for bell-like chime and projection no matter what style you choose to play in – picked, plucked, or strummed.
If it already weren’t visually striking enough, worry not. A Spring Vine inlay envelopes the fretboard, almost dancing as you gaze at it. Equipped with Taylor’s ES-2 electronics, it is stage and studio ready, but feel free to keep all the sonic goodness to yourself if you’re so inclined.
