Universal Audio Astra Modulation Machine Effect Pedal
The digital processing power found in the Universal Audio Astra Modulation Machine is incredible on its own, but when engaged with the click of the footswitch? That power truly shines.
Universal Audio’s Astra Modulation Machine starts out with three classic modulation effects housed in a compact device. The first, the Chorus Brigade, produces expressive and vivid chorus swirls reminiscent of analog units of the 1970s and 1980s. This chorus can be tinkered with in deep ways to land on the exact tone of your liking. The second, the Flanger/Doubler creates a spot-on classic flanging and doubling effect inspired by both 1980s bucket brigade circuity and 1960s analog tape flanging. The third effect, Trem 65, taps into one of everyone’s favorite vintage tube amp effects. This tremolo effect can be swapped between sine and square waves for several different expressive voices.
The Astra Modulation Machine comes with two additional effects that can programmed through product registration via Universal Audio. The X90 Phaser and Dharma Trem 61 effects build upon the Astra Modulation Machine experience even further for more exceptional tones. Along with operation in mono, dual-mono, and stereo modes and Universal Audio smartphone app control functionality, the Astra Modulation Machine is a fully immersive and interactive pedal.
