Walrus Audio Meraki Analog Stereo Delay Effect Pedal
Coming from the Oklahoma City-based lab of Walrus Audio, this Meraki Analog Stereo Delay harnesses MN3005 bucket brigade chips to conjure up a delay that stretches to a massive 1200ms.
Offering choices of parallel, ping-pong, or series delay modes as well as the ability to sculp the left and right channels independently, navigating through syncopated repeats is made simple with a user-friendly interface.
A Mix control allows for mixing and mingling of wet and dry signals, while Tap Tempo and Feedback controls offer Left/Right independent control over stereo delay, ranging from subtle whispers to a full-blown oscillation. With modulated depth and rate injecting a chorus/vibrato allure into users’ tone, adding a new depth to delay can be possible with only one pedal, and even further versatility is added by a delay time of 80ms to an expansive 1200ms. An additional Tilt EQ makes reigning lows and elevating highs a simple task.
Toggle between True-Bypass or Buffered Bypass, deciding whether to leave trails lingering in the air or opt for a clean slate. The Relay option allows you to choose between Trails (default) or Relay (no-trails) with the flick of a switch.
The inclusion of Expression functionality, MIDI integration, time, tap tempo, and tap division make this pedal not only a wildly fun toy, but an extremely useful and functional tool in the arsenal of anyone seeking a delay that truly does it all.
